The Chilean Seniors Golfers’ Society
A group of 12 Society members and partners were hosted by our Chilean friends in 2023.
Chile sits underneath the Andes which feature some of the most amazing mountain scenery. The golf courses are spectacular and the views of the Pacific Ocean from Valparaiso should be on everyone’s bucket list.
Of course, our Touring Party did not neglect to sample some superb wines and cuisine supplied by our gracious hosts. This indulgence perhaps impacted on SGS normal fierce competitiveness so we will cast a veil over the match results.
The Canadian Senior Golfers Association
A group of 12 Society members and their partners visited Canada in 2024 as guests of the Canadian Seniors.
The Tour started in Nova Scotia to sample exquisite seafood and coastal scenery; then on to Quebec City, Montreal, Ottawa and finally Toronto.
Canadian hospitality is amongst the best in the world. The party enjoyed a cruise on the St Lawrence River and a Blue Jays Baseball match in addition to sumptuous feasts in magnificent surroundings.
The United States Senior Golfers’ Association
’The United States Seniors’ Golf Association last toured England in Autumn of 2025.
After playing many of the magnificent courses around Southport, the tourists headed south to play the Surrey /Berkshire sand belt, with a very welcome stop in Rye for an injection of ancient history and southern links golf.
Nine venues hosted our U.S. guests and the warmth of welcome, wonderful hospitality and sense of camaraderie was clear to all. If the match results of the tour were recorded, they have been lost in the mists of time and conviviality.
